Parking
The private garage can accommoadte a medium-size car. Public parking for extra cars is also located in the centre of Sala Comacina (just off the main Via Regina by the church).

Located just a short stroll away, guests will find the authentic relaxed eateries of ‘Trattoria Cheghel’ and ‘Lido di Sala Comacina’, as well as the highly-recommended lakeside ‘Locanda di Trilindana’ close to hand. No stay or visit to Sala Comacina is complete without a meal at the ‘L’Isola Comacina restaurant too, which is reached by boat and is located on the famous L’Isola itself.

The apartment was perfect in terms of location, size and what it had to offer. The only downside which would ensure I didn't re book was the parking situation. When I filtered my search I specified parking as this was as important to me as much as the location of the accommodation. The parking isnt suited to anyone with a car larger than a hatchback, not due to the size of the garage but the position of it under the building. I had a saloon vehicle that was too large to use the garage. This caused us an issue each day as parking was away from the accommodation several minutes up the hill, and only when parking was available. Not once on my return whether it be morning, noon or night I could park where had been highlighted by yourselves. This leaves the parking areas availbe outside of residential premises and this is where the biggest problem arose. Being confronted by very angry residents because I had parked outside their apartment on every occassion until I feared my vehicle would be damaged and had to pay to park 15 minute walk away for the remainder of our holiday. If I was aware of this prior to booking or even on booking and within the cancellation period, I would never have booked, the parking and further details were only known once I had been sent the arrival instructions around 10 days prior to arrival. I would recommend in future to save further issues then to make the parking arangments clear from the outset.Response:

Die unkomplizierte Übergabe der Wohnung , indem wir den Schlüssel in der key-Box holen, fanden wir sehr angenehm. Von Anfang an ist man unabhängig. Allerdings ist die Parksituation schlecht, in die zur Wohnung gehörende Garage kommt man max. mit einem 500er FIAT rein, größere Autos haben keine Chance. Wir haben daher unser Auto in der Tiefgarage geparkt, welche ca. 100m auf der linken Seite der Hauptstrasse zu finden ist. Die Wohnung bietet alles , was man braucht, inclusive den herrlichen Ausblick auf den See vom Balkon aus. Einzig das Badezimmer ist sehr klein. Duschen muss man in der Badewanne, da fehlte allerdings der Duschvorhang. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden.
