Sardinia

Sardinia, the second largest island in the Mediterranean sea, is known for its long stretches of coastline, outstanding headlands, many inlets, bays and a wide range of activities for tourists to enjoy. The island which is spread over more than 24,000 square kilometres is full of green valleys which are surrounded by crystal clear sea water and smaller islands off the coast. Muravera

Muravera is a traditional Sardinian village located on the east coast of the island, on the mouth of the Flumendosa river. The hills here are bordered by large lagoons where pink flamingos and other species of birds can be spotted. The idyllic Costa Rei beach is not very far from here. Muravera itself is popular for its stunning landscape and prehistoric treasures.Tourists also love to feast on easily available organic and fresh food. There are plenty of citrus food plantation here known for the quality of oranges they bear. Muravera is also known for its homemade bread, ravioli, cheese and wine.

Porto Cervo

Porto Cervo has been a tourist hotspot for a number of years now. Located on the north-eastern corner of Sardinia, the place is an administrative unit of the commune of Arzachena. Porto Cervo derives its name from the enchanting cove here which is in the shape of the antlers of a deer. It is the main center of Costa Smeralda (Emerald Coast) and known for designer boutiques, spas, hotels, exclusive nightspots set in an idyllic setting. Porto Cervo is considered one of the best-equipped tourist spots in the Mediterranean Sea. No wonders that the place has hosted a number of celebrities, legendary personalities and affluent businessmen.
